Thanks! Sorry I didn't see your post until just now - I haven't done much here on 420 lately.
Funny, outside my folks yours is the only HB I got from anyone...weird world these days.
Thanks again!
Your call, of course, but you will learn a ton if you figure out what is wrong with the current grow and figure out how to remedy it.
Consider the 2-4 weeks it will take seeds to arrive, the additional couple of weeks getting them past germ and seedling stages. This means you are looking at a...
The little light green/golden spots look like thrip damage - the neem should help manage them. They live in the medium and lay seeds on the main stem and elsewhere, so make sure to neem the hell out of the surface of the soil (or whatever you are growing in) and get a good coating on the stems...
Yea, Mosquito Bits are friends.
About a year ago I very foolishly brought an outside plant indoors (just a pepper plant, actually), and within a month I was dealing with swarms - yellow sticky pads would get literally fuzzy with them. MBs handled the situation so well they now get sprinkled on...
Those DP seedlings look amazing - incredibly consistent, says a lot about the P's and seed stock overall. Do you intend to work these into an original line (sorry if you've addressed this previously)?
Washing also seems to improve aroma. It doesn't become stronger exactly, but the plant's essence just seems more eminent and penetrating. In audiophile terms it's almost like really dialing in to a tv/radio frequency by fine tuning the signal to noise ratio.
Yea, perhaps without explicit intention, you offer a good lesson in the value of taking clones.
I recently had an amazingly lemony/creamy/earthy Kosher Kush show up out of four plants from seed, but because it didn't seem as impressive early on I didn't bother cloning until well into flower...
Of course you have the clones to search through, but I wonder if perhaps there is some vegetation left on the odd chopped gal from which you could reveg her just to be safe. Sounds like a one-off worth keeping around.
That's a really interesting question, and and I've wondered it too. The best I've done is just over 25% of original weight, with most actually marginally less. 40%+/- is a lot.
What is the humidity reading typically before they get burped? If it's over 65% I might suggest leaving it out on a...
Interesting - I'll stick with my original "stab" at it for official purposes, but I doubt they'll get as low as the generally agreed upon 75% loss in a week jarred/burped.
Time, as they say, will tell!
