I should have said I think it is a fungus, given that it responded so dramatically to the Neem spray. No idea what fungus. The next picture doesn't do them justice - they were cut back really hard 20240303 before I went away for 2 wks; they are under a "day extension" 9W LED lamp in my sunroom...

Brother, I feel your pain. Those plants don't look so bad. Over the last year I was fighting something. I went through the seven stages of grief. I studied the GrowWeedEasy symptom galleries. The symptoms didn't match anything - or rather they matched everything. So I thought it was root rot or...

You might consider adding a small low-cfm fan. It helps mix the air, speeds eqilibration. Your dehumidifier will stir the air when it is ON, but things go still when it is off. Doesn't need to be much. I use an 80mm Enermax fan in a 16cu ft space and it is very nice and gentle. This one is...

Wounding is often done in propagation so I do it. More wounded area and more contact with the rooting powder may give more/faster callus and roots. But "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Sounds like yours root in timely fashion. They can only root so fast. I've never had any rot from the slits...

Disease. Thank you for being so kind in pointing that out. I deserved worse. I should have known that. In this current environment of Hop Latent Viroid I should be taking every precaution. I guess (hope) I've been lucky with my isolation and not bringing in cuttings in recent years.

i don't know what method people use for rooting cuttings. I've tried a lot of cloning methods. The one I've been using with 99.9% success is a slight modification of "Freak's Stupid Simple Cloning Method" (Freaks Stupid Simple Cloning Method) I can absolutely vouch for this method. This is...

Yeah, I wondered if you might be off-grid, or power limited. Kudos to you! What island are you on? To be clear, my first suggestion was to use an old/dead fridge just as an airtight cabinet with a renewable tray of desiccant, not to run it as a fridge; so power wouldn't be much of an issue...

First, could the vacuum seal be due to the water taken from the (probably) water-saturated air of the buds in the sealed jar? I didn't comment back a while about your difficulties drying in Hawaii humidity because I wasn't sure if you were off-grid and power limited, but if you are running...

    Vaporizing vs Decarbing

Thanks for that. I will keep an eye on Silent Seeds. They seemed to know what they were doing and I loved their community spirit. Maybe the Dinamed series are just getting outdated? I know I see things advertised now with higher CBD but, for medical use, a plant in hand and a test report gives...

    Vaporizing vs Decarbing

Sad that Dinafem got busted. I think I saw somewhere that they have made their genetics available to others. Since my plants are feminized and I'm dealing with mothers/clones my only hope to preserve the genetics for further breeding would be to force a plant to make male flowers and self them...
