Well four 315s in a 5x5 would be 50.4 watts/sq ft but maybe you're talking about a smaller tent.

Here's a guy who's packing in 315s at what looks like similar spacing as what I would be doing with 4 in a 5x5 tent. In his words..."I'm absolutely KILLING it with these 315s".

Are you asking what COBs are? If so, they are the current latest and greatest LED grow light. They're fairly easy to build yourself and there is a new market for kits where the wiring and components are figured out then the customer puts the lights where they want them. Fairly modular...
