When I change the water and nutrients I add 2 mL a gallon of the Hydroguard only then after I adjusted the ph !
The Z7 I don’t add till the next day after the change , 1/2 mL per gallon.
The thing I like about the Z7 if something’s in there that doesn’t belong it will show you it’s working . I found two growers if the problem was bad they would give 1/4 mL a day till it quit bubbling up . Both do not add to the tds !

So Z7 bubbles if there are issues? LIke in the res, or in the buckets ( or both )? I'm intrigued.

Do you only use it if you are having issues, or do you always run it to prevent rot / buildup? I do 45 gallon water changes on every week or so. My system is 100-120 gallons.

Yes I still run it twice between changes. Pennywise caught a little discolor on my roots and advised me to use it , been Snow White since !

I added some z7 to my res last night, and it foamed like a rabid dog. I'll keep at .25/ml day until it stops foaming. Then I'll start using the recommend dose. Does that seem like a decent plan?
