cfls for 1 plant

I'm really looking forward to my first grow. I'm using cfl's a lot to do with money also was a little worried about high temps other lights give off with my space being a small closet. I'm just getting things prepared so I could use some advice. I just purchased a 250watt 6500k cfl with a hood...
