That recipe is missing some basic stuff...but the real deal is it gets better and better and better with age.

After reading that link look up ROLS. Recycled Organic Living Soil. Recycling your soil allows all of that stuff to fully break down and be used.

As an example the Azomite wont begin to be really effective for 6 months. So it really only helps on the second grow.

Buy a 20 gallon or so bin and put all of this stuff in there for at least 30 days first. Stir it weekly.

While that plant grows cook up a propper compost. When you are done with this grow use the real compost in the second grow and reuse the first grow rootball by throwing it into the compost pile. The third grow will be awesome. If you keep feeding the microbes it just keeps getting better. Keep adding to it and rolling over the compost. Adding raw amendments as you go keeping it hot.

You want to add at minimum alfalfa and kelp. There is a lot more to add. Ancient forest soil or humic soil or concentrated humic powder. There is a lot more for "ideal"...but we dont need anything close to ideal as the plant is very resilient.
