Bozeman Commissioners Give Final OK On Medical Marijuana Ordinance

Bozeman Commissioners pass final adoption of the city's medical marijuana ordinance during their Monday public meeting with some changes over the preliminary version.

The body voted to remove an all out 32 business cap. The ordinance now allows any number of eligible growth, process or delivery operations. A new lower cap of 20 has been placed only on storefront businesses.

But commissioners voted all applications submitted be considered if the city receives the application before the ordinance becomes affective. That's on August 25.

Eighteen medical marijuana licenses have been granted by Bozeman so far. There are another 46 business applications in the review process.
