Cannabis Farmers Market held in Seattle on Sunday, February 27, 2011

SEATTLE - A couple hundred people lined up Sunday morning to attend the Cannabis Farmers Market at the Little Red Bistro in Seattle.
Attendees weren't charged if they presented valid ID and were authorized to receive medical marijuana.
Organizers say it was all about safe access to medical marijuana.
"Patients need to have choices. They need to have the ability to have access to medical marijuana like the law allows them and there's a lot of people out there who have co-ops and patients may not feel comfortable going into the co-ops. This allows them a great place to network," said market founder Jeremy Miller.
The monthly markets started in Tacoma in October. The next one is March 6 in Tacoma. The next market in Seattle is scheduled for March 13.
