High altitude grower in western Colorado

[Paonia Purple]

Hey everyone! This site is great- just chock full of great advice, stories, pictures, and techniques. Did I mention the bud porn?
I've been a secret grower for... errr....32 years now. (Had to take off my shoes to count the years, lol)

I've done hydro, bubbler, soil grows, scrog, sog, and LST techniques. Now that it's legal in Colorado for me to grow my own, I'm coming outta the grow closet into a real greenhouse setup.

My main goal is to re-create a locally popular strain that was known as "Paonia Purple", named from it's originating area and it's distinctive sticky purple buds. There may even be some of the original growers online here- if so, PM me.

The original PP had a distinctive pine/skunk/strawberry aroma, a stout indica kick, and a long happy creative high. It seems (in retrospect) to have been a 50/50 to 60/40 Sativa/Indica cross.

Has anyone else out there ever encountered this phenomenally delicious weed?
