Indiana state Rep. Jim Lucas will tour the PDI Medical cannabis dispensary at 1623 Barclay Blvd. in Buffalo Grove on Nov. 16 as part of a fact-finding trip by the chief sponsor of that state's proposed medical cannabis legislation.
He is the guest of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. After the tour, Joseph Friedman, pharmacist and co-owner of PDI Medical, has invited doctors, patients and patient advocates, elected and appointed officials, and medical cannabis industry leaders to meet with Lucas for lunch to discuss lessons learned in Illinois.
