The Mars II 1200 is a 590w panel. It fairs well but does produce a lot of heat. It also performs better in flower than it does in veg. Although it claims to cover a 4x4 area you would actually get better coverage in your 2x2 area.
They do create a lot of heat and they break down within a year or two. But for $400 USD it's a good deal for a novice grower that doesn't want to spend the $$$ on a LED Cob system.
