This may sound dumb, but I tried it and it worked (though I didn't plan on it working). I thought my material wasn't dry enough. But I did it anyway and the ball just wasn't looking right. So I put it in the bottom of my bowl and put some more bud on top. After the bud in the bowl all burned away (which took awhile.) this huge ball in the bottom was still there burnin really sloooow. It was pretty suprising to me.
