Starting an organic outdoor grow for personal/medicinal

Getting these ready indoors until roughly June 1st, then outdoors.

Strains are GG4, DOSIDOS, and ORANGE COOKIES. Originally I was supposed to get super silver haze but they messed up my order. I wasn't too upset tho haha

Anyways, ill keep everyone posted once in a while. Lately, with taxes and price increases, I just can't afford my medicine anymore. So for the price of a months worth, I can spend that on a grow that will last me all year.

Also, just a disclaimer, I'm working with my recommendation (have been for last 20 years), abiding by laws, for personal use.

So far the Orange Cookies are the best growers. They're getting big and have the fastest growing roots.

The person who gave them to me said the Orange Cookies would be the best but I was skeptical, as I've never heard of that strain before. But now I'm excited!

I am also excited about a Lemon Cake clone that I got a couple months ago. I put it outside at the beginning of March, not really knowing what would happen, and it started flowering immediately. I'm hoping it will continue for another 2 to 3 weeks until harvest. But it smells SOOOO GOOD! It totally smells like lemons and pine, but with a really heavy citrus/lemon scent.

Potted up today. I shoulda used a 4' T5 flouro as the outer plants aren't getting much light. So well see how they do over next few days...

So far, a basic 2' 4 bulb 6500k T5 has been working great for simple cuttings and vegetative growth but as they get bigger, I think the 4' would have been better. Thankfully this is temporary until June 1st, then they go outdoors!

Does anyone think I can put these outside before June 1st without them budding yet? In another month, under the flouros, they'll be monsters! I hate to say this but I want to keep the over all size down (height mostly, not bud size haha)

You should be able to put them outside by June. Just keep on eye on the "night time" temps outside. I put mine out the first week of June, and I'm in Michigan.

I'm surprised what a little basic 24" 4 bulb T5 fluorescent can do.

3 days difference in pic below from pic above. Orange Cookies growing big but GG4 really branching out. I'm shifting some from the sides to closer in to see if it changes any growth much but so far, im really impressed with 96 watts of T5.

To be honest, for this grow, the soil is awesome and I did dose the bottom half in pot with Happy Frog Bone Meal/Mychorrizae before planting. I also top feed with some liquid Excelurator Gold root stimulant/anti shock

I miss using a400w mh to veg clones but I don't miss the heat or electric bill haha... and if good results continue, I think I'll miss it even less
