Best time to go from Veg to Flower

This depends on a few variables, but there's really no hard and fast rule

Other considerations are the strain, time budget, and height restrictions.

Sativa's get awful tall compared to indicas but both have a height stretch phase during flowering.

LST (or bondage for plants) can be used to redirect vertical growth.

If you just want a rule of thumb though - 3-4 weeks to veg then go 12/12
