    Best cleaning chemicals for RDWC?

I've been using chlorine dioxide ( Oxine ) activated with citric acid for a couple years. It's used in commercial settings and excels at removing biofilm.

    Thrip control

I have used it in flower. It was early flower ( 3 weeks or less). It killed them all pretty quickly. Generally I'd shy away from doing this, but I didn't have many other good options. Not sure about bud wash. I've personally never done it.

    Thrip control

I've been down this road, and can say for sure that spinosad will work very well. I use Captain Jacks Dead Bug Brew @ 2oz per gallon.

    Emmie's Perpetual Vegetative Grow Rooms - 2020-2021

Hey Em! I think most of us have had timer woes at some point :) My Pulse1 saved my butt a couple times when I had timers malfunction or decide to change time zones on me.

2 perfectly calibrated pH meters giving different readings in solution

So true.. My Apera seems to be the most accurate as well. I've had it 2+ years and it's still usually spot on when I calibrate it.

PH drops significantly only two weeks into veg

Hello Raggedy. I have 2 years of RDWC under my belt. I'm not an expert by any stretch, but I've seen quite a few things in those 2 years. Here's my hip shot advice - some of which has been noted already. * Be very thorough about eliminating ALL light leaks. This includes white pvc. If in...

2 perfectly calibrated pH meters giving different readings in solution

Wow, I have the exact same problem. My differences are less tho: +/- .3. I use a Blulab Monitor ( ph, ec, temp ), and an Apera ph meter for comparison. Both were cleaned and calibrated the other day @ 7.0 and 4.0. There was a .2 difference immediately. A couple days later it's .3 off. The...

Best Air Stones: What has worked for you?

The 4" cylinder air stones are much better than the typical wand style Amazon air stone. I speak from experience :) Some of my buddies and I went in on 1064 of them on Alibaba. They were $1.50/ea delivered. They took 5-6 weeks to arrive, but are very large and really high quality. I was...

70 year old builds grow room

Yes. I have a 100sqft veg room and the flower room is 200sqft. I trim and dry in the veg room as well. Its pretty tight in there. I wish I made it larger.

70 year old builds grow room

I'm guessing a dehumidifier will handle it? I just opted to use the heater on the mini-split since it had that capability. I'm guessing you will need AC. My AC runs constantly in the summer. I would be in big trouble if it stopped working. You'll be able to vent out some of the hot air (...

70 year old builds grow room

Ingham County. My exhaust fan is vented outside. Under the soffit with a louvered vent. You're going to want vent that moist, hot air. I dont run it as much in the summer. But the other 3 seasons I run it often. I'm mainly running 630 cmh's. I also have some leds ( mainly v3 redspec...

AC infinity 8". Im using a Mr. Cool 24k and had no problems last winter ( was a mild winter for Mich. tho ). It was pretty painless to install too. Im using any Anden 130ppd dehumidifier. At first I thought it was an overkill, but its having a hard time keeping up.

70 year old builds grow room

Hello there. I'm from mid-MIchigan myself. I built a 12x25' grow room in an existing out-building myself about 8 months ago. If u have any build questions send me a dm. I'd highly recommend a mini-split, a good dehumidifier, and an exhaust fan.
