well i have my LED in a 5x5x7 tent and no heat problems. i do have a fan in there and a fan pulling air out too tho but i didnt put it in because of heat. i put them in to circulate air. never used cfl so not sure on that area.

So i am thinking about switching to Roots Organics Organic Nutrient line. One thing i am confused about is that it doesn't seem like it is the same in organic growing as some peoples journals i have read. Where they mix together their soil and guanos and everything else and let sit for a month...

LEDs are low heat. i run a 300 watt and can put my hand right under it and barely any heat. i have my lights about 6 inches away from the top of the canopy
