I have a good RO filter for my tap water. any all instruacitons for stuff say to ph balence RO water for flushing...or for when feeding. then i read some places that you CANT take the ph of RO water. here i my issue. i have 2 VERY good meters, one handheld and one that is a constant 24/7...

mc budz...did you mean if your water has s HIGH ppm let it sit out?? im dealingwiht water that comes out at 230ppm and the water dept says it uses chloramine not clorine to clean the water. thanks

Thanks, Im going out for a few days so i just now added 20ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide to my 6 gallon Res. I changed the res out last night and its at about 800ppm now. when I get back, im going to do this procedure to get rid of the algae (and then add a 2nd pump with 2 or 3 more airstones)...
