Thanks art fog, this year I'll ride the bike up there and the wife will drive her car...... this year we are sitting in lawn chairs... not on the ground again, get tired of people stepping over ya while your sitting there.....
might even grab our sleeping bags and sleep over.... allot of...
My nieghbor, she is a cop, and her husband is a real ****..... I'm surprised that they have not showed up at our front door step from time to time.... he's gotten into several verbal and physical disputes from nieghbors up the street and across from him.... to the point the cops show up, and...
Hey Quix, diggin those photos, damn I miss the grow... still holdiing out til mid September tho.... regarding yeild outcome from a re-grow is that I got 19 pint jars from the re-grow, about 23 grams/pint jar and I think I got 11 pints from the original grow.... with that said, not sure if the...
Hey Quix, your grow looks awesome..... you may want to consider to do a re-grow on your best ladies, just leave a few leaves on the main stem at harvest time and just give them fresh water for a week or so, then add a weak solution of veg fertilizer and nutes the second week and they will start...
so very glad I took a pause from growing thru-out this summer, it's has been so hot these past 3-4 weeks, no doubt I'd would have had to deal w/heat stress.... still the plan is to get started by mid September.... thanks everybody for your comments and suggestions RoorRip
Thanks for the comments Quixilvir.... the Blue Widow was really easy to grow, so was the CG.... in aero-hydro the PH is a big factor of course, but the past 3 grows I always get some yellow spotting on the foliage in week 3 or 4 of vegging, I add Calmag+ and it cleans it up in a few days...
awesome photos of your grow.... looking super healthy.... I did not see a fan, is it located above the main CFL, or do you have it out of the way to take photos? Stellar grow buddy...
Thanks Quixlvir... I was surprised as well on the outcome, so much so I actually re-weighed a few pint jars to reverify that my digital scale was working right. My 1st haul w/these 2 strains was just short of 1#, I got 13 pints... 1280 watts, 83,000+ lumens w/mixed ratio was used in my last 2...
Thanks Quixlvir, I finally got around to weighing all of it....
Landrace Colombian Gold weighed in at 14 oz, 18 grams
Blue Widow weighed in at 2 oz, 11 grams
Sugar leaf trim and underbud was at 2 oz, 4 grams- to be used for hash
So overall 1 lb, 3+oz, not bad for only 4 plants, also...
Once again depending on the strain, but my 1st grow I had vegged for 9 weeks.... 2nd and 3rd grow 5 weeks. Once you switch to flowering or 12/12 light scedule, the plant will continue to stretch and grow for a few more weeks or until the colas really start to fatten up..... light schedule I use...
Thanks, yeah it may not look pretty, but back in the day, when I worked as a physical plant director at central missouri university, we had a building cooled via icewater, we had a machine making ice continously which dumped into a pool, then the water pumps would pump it up thru the cooling...
Hey Quix, by education and work experience I once was a pnuematic auto-temperture control application engineer for Johnson Controls.
Dealing w/heat issues in a small grow area is a pain in the ass, can't vent it out, can't bring in a/c into your grow area.... I tried this once and it did...
I've doing some minor remodeling around our house and yard.... going to try to start the next grow in Aug.. no later than Sept.... been riding my Harley some, but not as much as I like, gotta few charity runs, July 9, July 23 and the infamous Missouri Mule Run in Sept.., mule run is HUGH...
thanks Quixilvir, art fog for stopping by.... it's been a hectic summer...
Did the cut on 6-5-11, trichomes at 80% cloudy w/+50% amber..... 16 snugly stuffed glass pints jars of Landrace Colombian Gold, 3 pints of Blue Widow.... also 3 gallon zip-lock bags full w/underbud and trim of the...
