...so I am germinating a few beans using the wet paper towel method. They are bag beans. I didn't expect any to pop, but two of four did. That said, a couple have what looks like webbing on them. I assume these are pests and I should just ditch them all and maybe go with water/bleach...

Ah. How much wattage would an LED have to run to take plants from seeds to harvest? If you wanted to go that route....

Would the 50 watt LED fixtures (the ones that look like fire alarms) work for two plants, or would you be restricted to one plant? Would the square fixtures dissipate the light better for two plants?

Gotcha. I'm a bit nervous about purchasing a "plug and go" operation b/c i'm not in a very mj friendly state. I don't trust the mail or UPS. Yes, i'm paranoid. Plus, even though i'm not much of a DIY'er, paying five to ten times as much as I would making one would be very difficult for me...

Are you building the box yourself, or are you purchasing something and modifying it? I'm starting from the same point, and i'm going with a purchase/modify box as if I tried to build it myself i'd probably end up with a hammer in my eye. ;) Got the same questions about the lights....hope...
