So yes, finished harvesting while fighting frost for a couple of weeks but did not wait the full time recommended. Frankly it's just too spotty cold now in Canada to mess with it.
So anyway, the girls were wet trimmed and dried then processed for shake and are now in ltr mason jars...
OK I guess but it's all online anyway so anyone could be anyone they say. Nature of the net beast.
If it helps I was an adult before basically anyone at all had cell phones and remember when the net was young.
Ha! I wish I was 18 again.
Yeah the cost is a massive factor but with potential returns investors are a possibility.
It seems the main hurdle is regulatory.

so friends tell me that in northern climes it's best to prune all fan leaves now before a frost to stimulate final bud growth.
I'm looking at frost in a few days and they look great but I don't want them to die.
OK well I've got a shed to keep heavy visible frost off but it does nothing much for keeping the cold out. I'd just rather harvest early than have nothing but don' want to wast all this effort either. Viable option?

Like I said, weather looks fine for another week but what do I do for options when it drops? Will harvesting ruin them?
I'm in Canada. I've 100 acres of certified organic land that hasn't been cultivated for anything for over 50 years but it' in the middle of farm country and half cleared of major trees et.
I've talked to various consultants about growing cannabis in any form - industrial, etc and the cost...

OK well that rots. There is no way I'll be able to avoid a hard frost before Halloween although it still looks good for next week t least. So keep feeding them?

OK so I introduced myself on another thread.
Basically, eastern ON, Canada outdoor grow, roughly 6 foot plants in containers and looking to harvest before hard frost which could happen at any time. It's been a lucky year that way and to me they don't look quite ready but have been flowering...
