I know he's been growing for years and very good stuff.
This is my first grow, and I have tried to germinate these things with no success
Any input would help, I've let them float in water till hey drop

Hey all,
What seems to be up with my girl?
The leaves are yellowing and wrinkly.
Its a hydro grow and when i changed the solution today, the water level was kind a low, so I'm not sure if that could be it.

I have noticed that plants process a lot more water using a weaker nutrient solution and less water with a stronger solution.
With Hydroponic nutrients the Water uptake is slower with 4ml per liter and consumes more with 2ml per liter of grow bloom & micro for instance.
I noticed the pattern...

I recently decided to make the switch to Jacks after a lot of reading but I still can't figure out how to use this stuff. The info sheet they sent says 3.68g of 5-12-26, 1.13g of epsom salts, and 2.43g of calcium nitrate per gallon but I have a few questions.
1) Is this correct solution for our...
So I ordered a milwaukee ph55 meter, calibrated it. I stored it in the 4.0 solution just as the instructions said. 2 days later ph readings are all jacked up. Its not even reading 4.0 in the solution, I am soo mad right now. Is it normal to have to recalibrate every use? What ph meter is...
Dear all,
The Deep Flow Technique (DFT) system is made up of cement flooring. The nutrient solution is directly in contact with the cement flooring. May I know if there will be adverse effects on the nutrient solution?
Thank you.
I'm planning on changing out the nutrient water tomorrow of my grow to simply combat the rising ppm level that apparently I've been causing via adding ph down and I have a few quick questions.

So i was gifted a cheapo tds meter and it only reads up to 999ppm. I can make it work until i can afford a better one but my question is this... I have calibration solution that is 1500ppms. Can i dilute this in half with RO water to get 750ppm solution or does it not work this way? Ive always...
This is what works for me. Feel free to comment and rip me to shreds if you feel the urge. Friendly debate is fun and I won't take it personal. First, I mix my own nutes. Why? Because it costs about 1/10th of buying them pre-mixed and farmers have done this for thousands of years so why wouldn't...

Hi i have a couple of plants and i bought a ph meter yesterday that said my soil ph was 7.9, so i made a solution of water, nutes and lemon juice, which was a ph of 5.5, and watered, the adjusted soil ph is now between 6.5 and 7. My question is will the 5.5 watering be harmful to adjust ph level...
