1 branch hermie'd?

2 days ago I noticed one of my plants is going hermie. I have inspected the plant up and down and it appears to only be growing balls on 1 of the flowering branches.

Is this the way it happens? Or is this a fluke. Can I cut the one branch and hope the rest of the plant doesn't start growing balls?

Yeah, that can happen, if that branch has been exposed to slightly more stress than the others etc then its possible that only that branch will hermie. Still, its the pollination you want to avoid, id definately get rid of that branch and hope for the best.
