After having a few hiccups with watering my northern lights is finally looking better on day 15. I will veg until the plant is around 15 inches then switch to flower under a 1500 watt led light. Currently it is under a 250 watt led. Stay tuned hope I don’t mess this one up!

Just woke her up from sleep and noticed the tips on my lower leaves are showing a hint of yellow to them. I’m assuming it’s a nitrogen deficiency so I will mix up a quarter dose of nutes tomorrow morning for a light feeding. This bag of ffof is about 8 months old from when I bought it so maybe it wasn’t as potent when I first got it.

So examining the plant closer this morning the tips of the older leaves do have a hint of yellow, I want to give them a light 1/4 feed of grow big, and tiger bloom but they still have water in the bottom and I don’t want to overwater them again so I will wait till either tomorrow or Monday. Hopefully it doesn’t get to bad here’s pics from this morning.she did grow more over night

Day like 20 or something of veg
Was gone for the weekend came home to everything looking good. I finished up moding my veg box today with a new fan that has better variable speeds. I wasn’t too happy before with the single speed hi speed fan since when on the temps got lower than my northern lights liked and with it off and the light on the temps got to hot. Now I have it set at a perfect 78 degrees with A humidity of 60. The plant has really perked up over the past hour with the recent changes. Right now she still has some weight from the watering I did Friday. No longer being inpatient I will wait until she shows me the signs of needing a drink. Had about an inch of growth over the weekend and I expect with the changes made today I should start seeing better growth!

Checked on my girl this morning she is looking nice and happy and perked up. Added kangaroots to my last feed wondering if that is making a difference in her absorption. Either way I’m happy with how she is looking and growth being consistent now

Day 22 or so may be a day or two off can’t remember what day I started just know it was around October 1st plant is still showing good signs of growth and starting to see some signs of yellow on the leaf tips. I did give it a feeding with quarter strength nutes today so we will see if that improves the yellowing. As of right now I’m not concerned id rather have a deficiency than a toxicity.

Little late night checkup on my girl before I head to bed. She’s looking beautiful tonight after her nap. I’m going to have to move her soon to her bigger area. I’m just waiting on a new tent and fan set up to be delivered should be Monday.

Well I had to temporarily upgrade to a bigger veg tent as my little box was no longer sufficient and the plant was getting to close to the light and starting to show some signs of light bleach. I also have noticed over the past two days not to much growth. She has been drinking happily but no growth so I’m assuming it is time to up pot it to the 5 gallon smart pots. If anyone has any suggestions with the growth issue or just to say what I’m doing sounds right please let me know. Have a great day
Ps. The light in the small box was about 10 inches from top of the plant. In the tent I am 18 inches above the top with more than a foot available if needed. My new tent will be here in a week and it is 32”wX60”LX80”H so I will have a lot more space than I did in my old flower box

Slow growth could be from the light bleaching and needing to transplant all in one... Also make sure your getting good drainage which indicates that the roots are oxygenated... Over watering will slow growth as well but looks like they are ok from that... Once you transplant dont wig out because there going to slow down again until they acclimate into the new medium... Humidity amd temp also plays a part in growth... If your environment is dialed in, its more than likely too much light and nearing root bound... Goodluck

Yea my temps Hoover between 76-80 during the day and 69-74 at night humidity is usually between 50-60 never higher than 60 and I think the lowest it hit was like 46. Most of the time 57 though. No over watering I finally got my watering dialed in thanks to @Emilya. I’m going to transplant tomorrow. I have excellent drainage in my smart pots. I watered today and moved my light up to 18” above plant

Well today was transplant day. I moved from a 2 gallon smart pot to a 5 gallon smart pot. I did a light watering on the bottom layer of soil before I put my plant into it. I am a little nervous that I may have gone to early in the transplant as I didn’t see much roots on the outside of the ball. I’m wondering why my roots are growing so slow last grow I had very nice roots by week 3 and I’m almost on week 4 now. Any input would be great. After I set the plant into the new pot I did a very very light water as I watered them yesterday
