Missouri - A Lake Park, Ga. man has been charged with drug trafficking following a stop on Interstate 44 in Phelps County. Brian F. Ackerman, 30, was pulled over for a traffic violation around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday by a deputy with the Phelps County Sheriff's Department. Police say Ackerman gave the deputy consent to search his vehicle, during which the deputy discovered 300 pounds of hidden marijuana. Ackerman was arrested and taken to the Phelps County Sheriff's Department. He is charged with first-degree drug trafficking. Bond is set at $500,000.

Even if he knew that he was going to be busted he was stupid in my eyes for not making the law officer at least waste his time and energy in getting a warrant to search his vehicle.
