A lot of small plants or a few bi ones?

I have a 4'x8' grow tent with two 1000w dim-able ballasts by Galaxy and plenty of ventilation and air circulation. My question is what has worked best for others as far a scrog growing or only putting 4 or5 plants under each light without being tied down or supercroped. I was thinking either 32 plants in 9x9 square pots, or 9 plants in 3 or 5 gallon pots, and even possible only 5 plants in 10 gallon pots. Just seeing what has worked well for other. Thanks and keep it green.

If we're looking at a tent that's 4' deep, 8' long, I'd do 8 plants. No more, no less. That gives each plant 4 square feet to spread out in.

32 plants IMO is a waste of seeds, as you can get the same, or better yield with fewer plants that receive more attention each.

I'd agree with antics- less plants is better. You have to veg longer obviously but it's way easier to have a handle on things and grow healthier plants when you have less of them. For example, it gets to be a lot of work checking 32 pots to see if they're all watered right. Having less lets you put more time and love into each one.
