Air pruning in rockwool cube prior to transplant to DWC

I plan on initially growing my seedlings in a 3" rockwool cube sat on wire mesh to air prune the roots and get them dense and plentiful before putting in the net pot and clay balls. Anyone tried this.

For rockwool, try a flood and drain system to get them ready for flower. @KCCO 77 has had crazy good success doing this. I've never seen root balls as healthy as his. Especially for the age of his plants.

Yes.

It's how it's done by many commercial growers. Then those plugs, are put in other plugs and the beat goes on.....
