Are they ready?

Dear All,

Not grown polar express before (By Autoseeds). I am growing in soil outdoors, neutral ph and have been using biobizz bloom feed every third feed.
Based on calender days the plant should have been chopped 3 weeks ago but still has majority white pistols, while others are very dark brown.
Any views on if this is a strain thing and if she is ready to harvest. I have taken some pictures so you can see the tricombes. Many thanks.

In my opinion she is not ready. Based on your pictures it looks like most of the pistils are still white. Harvests generally tend to happen when about 100% of pistils have turned red. Another way to gauge is based on color of the trichome heads. If you have a magnifier of some type it helps to be able to see those little crystal balls color. I like to harvest when the trichomes start changing from all milky to very few of them being amber.
