Want to know in Australia when I should stop topping my plant. I want her filling out more but don't want to give sufficient time to grow back and gain yields. Any advice appreciated

I would say as long as the plant is still in veg top away but I wouldnt top any if it already started gowing into flower.
Just remember even if you were growing indoors. If you topped then switched to 12/12 the tops will still grow until stretch is over
Now as for when the days start getting shorter over there...idk cause I live in U.S.
