Autoflower Seedling Has Trichomes: Only 1 Set Of Leaves! Weird Or Not?

So I noticed yesterday- one of 3 of them is growing trichomes. I ran it under a 200x scope- trichomes are some clear some milky- all have shafts and bubble heads... so not “leaf” trichomes- real trichomes! Is this normal, only my 4th x growing never seen this and can’t find anything on Google?! Thanks all!

It’s a misc fem auto from a pack of misc autos I purchased- I wish it would have been a monster- not sure what I’m doing wrong- I can germinate- I can sprout- but so far out of this 10 pack- most do not survive- I have a “credit” with the company I purchased from- I suspect old seeds- the other two I was able to grow were two different types from the same seller- they only grew to be 5-6” tall- really high quality- but under 1/4 oz each cuz so little- though if they had grown bigger- the buds would have been enormous as some were 3 fingers wide when still on plant but dried light... room temps 75-80, humidity 45-50% using led and cfl. I grew one plant everything the same- from a previous purchase, it was an auto- grew about 12-14” tall, about an oz... I’ve given up for now...

I dont know exactly what you got for light or nutes or genetics but try a more intense grow light not cfls some good nutes and some good genetics before you give up. Seems like you had some bad luck the lil plant in pics looks like you have it in you to grow!! Goodluck dont give up!!

Well the lil guys don’t get nutes because they were too little, a little molasses water was all I gave, but when the others got bigger and began to flower (about week 4) I started in with a weee bit of fox farms bloom and that may be what kept them shorter. None of my plants would stretch, not even a little when needed. Light meter registered 7-800 per plant top. (Seedlings were kept at 5-600) I use 2 65 (300 watt equivs) true watt CFL directly above the big plants, with 22 total other lights, so about 450 true watts or so of both led and cfl. To be honest it’s mostly cfl with a few leds thrown in for blue. Thanks for the faith- I’ve just killed so many I’m a bit traumatized and they weren’t cheap seeds either...

Maybe you could try a strain known to be easy with high yields. Get some northern light or big bud or any of the tried and true producers. If they still wont grow very big or produce much then you know to look at lighting, nutes, temps, etc. Good luck to you.

autos sometimes throw out a runt , if you check my thread i had one too , grew couple of inches high and then flowered
