Bagseed+fluoro+hydro+1st time=exp (& success)

So I've been meaning to start this for some time. I actually planted these seeds July 26th (77 days ago) and have been flowering since September 14th (27 days ago), but thought I'd get this up for the final weeks. This is my first time growing, I used bageeds so I have no strain info, and have been growing with fluorescent lights (more details to follow). I started the seedlings in rockwool cubes and transplanted into a 2:1 perlite and vermiculite mix and have been feeding them General Hydroponics nutrients (using Lucas Formula). The seedlings started under a single, 54 watt four foot T-5 strip, and I added a two 32 watt four foot T-8s (and recently two more...). I started with 4 seeds, and learned a lot during the initial growth phase about the distance of the lights. One overstretched and didn't make it, but the other three turned out to all be females. One which came from a seed we didn't even think would germinate recently died in the flowering stage. Still, I'm very happy with my results so far, the two surviving ladies are doing fantastic (especially the one that's slightly shorter and doesn't need to be tied up). I'll be posting photos of all of the progress so far. Thanks for your interest, questions and advise welcome (appreciated, even).

So ur not doing a hydro setup? It looks like soil

So ur not doing a hydro setup? It looks like soil

It's a mix of perlite (2 parts) and vermiculite (1 part) and I'm using the "handwater-hydro" method. Looks and acts like soil with none of the complicated mixing and matching to make sure the plants get what they need.

Thanks, Tunes!

I too am fan of soil less

So I've seen! Your current grow is fantastic, I really like that double dish buckets setup. Also can't wait to see what comes from that cool looking bag seed plant, the one that looks like some sort of cool dome. I super appreciate the compliment, your grows are suave. :thanks:
