First Time Using Tent

hello everyone. and thanks for having me.

this is my first time using a tent. I already had "free" seeds, and I wasn't sure

how many would germinate, so I put them all under a wet papertowel, and 98% popped.

so I had to find places for the seedlings. I have 4 plants in a 2 X 4 foot tent. next grow,

there will be only two inside the tent.

question: is the yellowing of the leaves on photo2 caused by too much watering.

thanks.

thanks. I have used no nutrients yet on that plant.

this is a temporary set up just to see what happens.

I do have several moisture/ph/light meters that you

put in the soil, and it told me a week after watering it

that it was still moist. so I haven't watered it in about

two weeks.

just let it go for now, see what happens?

the three other plants inside the tent are fine.

using collected rainwater to water.

the two smaller pots are in FoxFarm potting soil, a 50/50 blend with

miracle grow.

the two 5-gallon pales are all FoxFarm.

the 5 I have in the garden are all thriving.

that sounds like a good method for watering. I will start

doing that starting today.

and by judging by the photos I looked at here, I started training

my two main plants way too late. my 5-gallon pots were seedlings

the first week of June. and I did by fabric pots for my nest grow.

I'm learning, and I vowed to myself to become a master grower.

just need time, and I have lots of that.

and I'm ordering a triangle tent for a corner of my dining room

next week, so I'll have a tent upstairs and down. makes me happy.

and I think I'm going to start the germination process for

a Critical Purple plant for the downstairs grow.

I have to say that I truly love growing.

Hello,

I am late to the party, but I have to ask. I am legally blind and can see decent, but I did not see what size and brand of LED you are using.

I also agree it is possibly the Miracle grow, but that is not a definite even though we all sort of frown on MG. :D I was going to add, that the slightly curling tips show a possible nutrient burn, but it could be that your PH is off. Have you checked PH at all? You may need to do a runoff PH check to give you more info to go on.

edit: p.s. I also meant to say when doing a runoff check for PH, you could also check the EC/TDS/PPM of the runoff to determine how hot the soil is. Peace

'Wood, I'm using a 2 X 4 X 60 inch tent, with 2 lefreshinsoft 1000W led

lights, dimmed to 50 percent. I know my tent is too full, but not sure

with the two plants that don't belong in there. might put the, pot and all,

in the garden full time.

May I ask you to look up the footprint for your 1000 watter? If you have 2 in that small tent, then you may only need one. IN fact 1000 watts by itself is IMO a bit too big for that tent, but since you can dim the lamp, It should work out. All 3-4 members have given you good solid replies ot help. I cannot wait to see your successful finish.

Let us know about that 1000w LED footprint. Should be on the box, but it is definitely on the website. I also have a direct line to SF...At least I used to LOL

why would this plant in my tent look so good when I used all the same material with all four plants in there?

Every plant is a little different, especially hybrids. Each seed takes genetics from the Mon and Pop just like 4 brothers may be different isze and stature. Be happy!!! She is beautiful. If you want all plants approx. the same height and size; Look into cloning.

just looked it up, 'Wood, and it's 3 X 3 feet. like I said in an earlier post, this spring,

I had a bunch of seeds, put them all under a wet papertowel, not knowing they

would all pop. I was happy, but until I get the other tent, have no place to put

them. I want 2 plants in each tent, all year 'round. my outdoor garden is full,

and I have some I brought way out in the forest. so, I'm hoping I get something

to smoke in a few months.
