Beneficial Microbes Causing Cloudy Reservoir?

Hey guys, first post here.

I have a brand new deep flow setup (similar to NFT but with deeper water) and I've added ZHO microbes to it 5 days ago. The water is now cloudy and has a slight odor. I think this is normal as the microbes are thriving and multiplying.

The plants look as healthy as can be and the few roots that are sticking out of the cups are still white.

With all the pythium talk on this forum, I just want to see if it could be pythium? I really doubt it but just wanted to check!

I have read these forums for countless hours and I think I'm doing everything correctly with my setup, but I could be wrong.

By the way - I'm growing bok choy (vegetables) as you can see in my photos as my first crop, but it's clear to me that I'll get some of the best advice from you guys in this forum since you're very active and quite on top of things. The rest of the forums are basically ghost towns with weeks between posts.

Have a look at my setup (my first ever) and tell me what you think about the cloudyness.

Thanks guys - I appreciate it.
