Brackish water

my friend lives by this marsh ya see and he is thinkin bout growin.there are many little islands and places hidden along the edge of the marsh that could be suitable for growing.and yes we can haul water and ferts in easily and we werent even gona think bout using the brackish water but we were wondering if the plants would grow alright around it since its like a runoff from the intracoastal?

I am not totally sure but I would venture to say that Marijuana probably couldnt handle the added salt.
