Breeding For Fire Experiments

BLUE GOD seedlings getting bigger everyday. Even down in this corner they get a nice breeze to help strengthen them.

Breeding chamber is running hot now that the bloom lights are on as well as veg. I'm building an air chiller from an old Coleman cooler. Some ice bottles and a fan. Plants are doing great. 4 days into flower.

Too much effort fighting temps in the chamber. This 600 watt digital dimmable with air cooled hood should fix all of it. And I'll move the meise led lights into veg.

Goodbye Meizhi LED.. Hello air cooled 600 watt HPS.

Not quiet done. Need one more coupler to connect to the exhaust manifold. The girls will spend the night with their big sisters.

There. No I have a sensor for temp and humidity in the chamber, in Veg, and in flower. I can monitor it all from one place. Yeah a Wi-Fi version would have been nice but this is perfect.

All set up and running. Like the flower room this chamber runs at night. With the light at first level it stays the same as room temp outside. The more powerful exhaust fan should be here tomorrow.

Replaced the chamber exhaust fan with a more powerful 4 inch from the flowering room as it now has a 6 inch fan. It's a tight fit. But it fits.

Just into week 2 and the climb has begun.

The BLUE GOD seedlings are showing some beautiful structures. Love the symmetry.

Was at a local grow shop today #QuickGrow Indoor Garden Center.
Found this lightly used hydro flood tray that perfectly fits the chamber. Never even been drilled for fittings.... $25 bucks. yes please! I know have everything I need to do full sealed recycle hydro breeding. Once I've identified a male I will clone him and all girls to be bred and veg them in either straight coco or coco and perlite. And then... The breeding!

Got the humidifier removed as it is no longer require. Sealed the hole. Cut a hole for the flood tray fittings to pop through. The plastic slip will stretch around the fittings to make light and pollen tight seals. 64l reservoir for now. 3 holes and an access. 2 holes for pump line up and 1 for drain back down. The exiting water will act as a waterfall to stir and sedate the reservoir. 1 hole for the pump cord and an access to add and check nutes. I can't place the tray in till this flowering round is done. By then I hope to have identified a male BLUEGOD.

Got the second layer of trellis in last night.

Week 3 in the chamber. I've done a lite defoliation just to remove light blocking fan leaves from prime budding sites. I've also used a perlite top dressing as an aphid barrier as I finally caught them coming up from the bottom.
