Brown roots, still growing.

I expanded my bucket from a 1 gallon to a 5. bumped up the air. and added some nutrients to the water. A few days later about half of my roots and brown almost black.
Ive had some bown tint to my roots befors as that me nutrients and chemicals make the water brown, but never like this.
Plant is not affected still growning very very well. What would it be. should i be concerned.

What nutes are you currently feeding and please include ALL additives such as h2o2.

Are the roots slimy and such or such tinted the color of the nute solution?

How often are you changing the res and flushing with straight water?

What are the res temps? they should be 70 or below...
