Coco , Sand and Perilite...

That's my "Medium"
from there I put Peat, EWC,Bone Meal, Organic Compost and a pinch of Dolomite Lime
to help balanced PH...
From THIS montage of mix I add "Teas"
I use Alaska brand Fish Fertilizers...
Different ones for Veg 5-1-1 or Bloom 0-10-10
They have a Kelp I want to try.
This is all "Box Store Products"
No Wallets were injured in the making of my Pot

After a GOOD draining soil is Had
Next is GOOD water...
First choice "Lake"
Then comes Rain or Snow
These all "Tested" better than our Well Water
.

The Tomato plants are LOVING the 300w LED ( Galaxyhydro )
The tent still has Mothers and Clones...
But they are moving outside soon.
This tent will be used to grow tomatoes in the Winter...
Although... I got 5-1/4oz last Winter...

This experiment is growing Tomatoes in the Same Soil I grew the pot in...
If things go well... I know my Mix of Medium had "extra"...
Otherwise I'd have to rethink the mix...
The Tomatoes are doing great.

Here's the stuff that was just Harvested

In my other post , The Clone showed a pretty good growth rate.
This "Medium" I mixed, already grew 5-1/4oz dried/cured, in a little tent...
This experiment is a simple one...
Some of these Tomatoes are going outside...Clones and mothers too.
But some will stay in the mix I harvested from...
I'm curious to see if enough nutrients are left for a good tomato plant.
I'll still give it some Fish "Teas" like the MJ got... Just to make the test even on both sides.

Look at the Dates on the Pictures...
I think it's good growth rate...
I give that credit to Coco, sand and perilite...
Bulk up on those , and add "your" mix.

Even in the Winter I have Lady Bugs... They MASS here in the fall to take cover
from Winter... When I see them , I carry them to the tent...They love it there.

PS Can't wait to plant OUTSIDE... This tent gets SMALLER all the time

I'm waiting to plant outdoors...
the mothers are outgrowing the ice cream tubs.
the clones are outgrowing the creamer jugs
and it won't take long til the seedlings outgrow the cups.
ph is off a little , but luckily , the edge of the lake has thawed...
Mmmm, good ph balance lake water.
actually... it stays 6.5 But my plants like that.
