Court Support Needed - Seattle - Dec. 15

CDC member and attorney Aaron Pelley is appearing in King County District Court in downtown Seattle this Tuesday morning, to argue for the return of
9 ounces of medical marijuana seized by the Washington State Patrol from authorized patient Scott Verner during a May 29 traffic stop.

This is the first case in our Medical Marijuana Reclamation Project to be argued in court. The more bodies we can muster, the mustier we will be -- or was that the more mustardy we'll be? Anyway, King County is not a bad place for medical marijuana, but rogue, misinformed, or under-educated law enforcement agents still royally screw the occasional medical marijuana patient. We hope that, in working to reclaim seized medical marijuana, we can respond to, and help inform, those agents and agencies, one by one.

* What: King County v. Scott Verner
* When: Tuesday, December 15 @ 8:45 a.m.
* Where: King County Courthouse Room E-338, 516 3rd Ave. in Seattle

The case number is 509EX2609. This is in downtown Seattle, at the end of most every transit line in the regional universe. Please attend if able.
