Cuttings not growing roots

Making cuttings in a homemade aeroponics tub . Mother plants first cuttings 160 out of 180 cuttings rooted. 2nd cuttings 25 out of 180, a friend of mine had 2 sets of good cutting from same plants & then he had same results ! my own bc & godbud cross, everything done the same, wondered what the problem could be ?

Make sure the aero cloner is cleaned in between each session.

The problem might lay within the mother, if you take cuttings from mothers that have just been fed rooting will be less successful due to the excess nitrogen available within the stems and leaves, they will not focus on making roots to stay fed, they will just eat the available nutrients and stems will age and struggle to break new roots. Try feeding mothers plain water for a week to leech excess nitrogen before cutting, this will also build carbohydrates in the stems and act as natural hormone for rooting, times will also be cut dramatically.

If this does not fix your problem your res temps are either to hot/cold.
