Digital Microscope USB - Recommendations and/or reviews

I want to check into getting a digital microscope for viewing trichomes but most of the reviews I have seen are 4-5 years old. Does anyone have experience, or know where I can get up to date comparisons on what is available? There seems to be a lot of them in the $25 to $50 range, can you get a decent one for that price?

Just a small update. I did not get any feedback so I've just been looking around until a few days ago. I found a used Carson MM-640 scope that was missing the CD for $20 on fleabay. I downloaded the software from the Carson website. It is a nice unit and definitely helps being able to look at the monitor screen instead of through a tiny eye piece. I haven't figured out how to take and save pics yet, but just to be able to see the trichomes better was worth the $20.
