DIY Dry finish trimmer

I used an 18 gal Rubbermaid container and hooked up a 5 gal. vac to a high PVC tube that will never suck up big pieces ... $50 !!

Welcome to 420 my friend.

I got the idea after seeing a video of a guy trimming on a 'friction trimmer' that sold for $1000
I have this hooked up to a bucket heat vac.- but it works w/o a vac. too - It even has a tap light mounted under the hood ...
I was surprised that the first saw bit I tried worked great - I ordered some other blades to try out - But it works now !

Which say blade did you use?

Is that OSB that you built the housing out of?

I bought a saw blade set at Harbor Freight - 5 blades and an arbor for $8
The wood is OSB paneling leftovers. A table saw and a air powered brad gun made it easy ...

I am still harvesting outdoors all week - Maybe next week ...
It works like the Whip Trimmer for ALOT less ...
