Do I have enough light?

i have 470w of HPS lighting and 127 actual watts of CFL lighting. would that be enough light for a space that is 3x3x5. And if possibly is a sufficient amount of light how much bigger of a space could i use? any help would be appreciated. thanks

The 470w should be sufficient for a 3'x3' footprint (I wouldn't go much further than 4'x4' with it), with CFL's supplementing the area you could maybe squeeze 5'x5'... Right now I have a 1000w in a 6'x6' footprint which is a bit overkill I think but the plants seem to dig it.

Keep in mind that if you're attempting to grow a sativa dominant strain indoors, these require a LOT of light (more than average) and will take up a lot more room than your typical indica/hybrids without proper training. Indicas love light too, of course, but they don't REQUIRE as much to hit their potential as sativas...
