Earl's 4 inch Tubular Aero

Maybe you have seen my 6 inch Aero Space Shuttle.

Here is my latest design.

6 inch PVC is harder to find
and a lot more $$$

Once I discovered two inch net pots and Neoprene,
I knew that 4 inch would work,
and also be cheaper to build.

I built this from an old DWC tub
and my spare Aero parts & pumps.

The ten foot joint of 4" pvc was about $15
a ten foot joint of 6 inch is $50

I fired it up and stuck some cuts in it,
and started spraying with AN nutes
@ 200ppm 5.6pH 72ºf

Hey I'm glad you posted this one on here, I was following your build and grow on this on CC and couldn't post cuz my registration is all screwed up, never got the confirmation email from them...

The stem at the base on your 2nd to last pic seems really thick for how small the plant. Are your sprayers on timers or 24/7??

That's prolly like $500 dollars of nutes on your table!!! LOL

This is a sweet setup, just stick a clone in there and keep the rez full huh??

~This is the first grow journal by someone else that has really caught my eye I checked it out cuz you said you were using connoisseur by An and now I am subscribed just because of how cool I think your tubular set-up is!~

thats a nice set up alright,
and the stem tickness is impressive!
what benifits are to be had in this system over dwc or other airo systems?

~Will you provide a step by step guide of how to build this set-up~

Yes indeed!Please!
Very cool setup indeed,I would like to try this as I already have most of the materials.:peace:

I would love to help you guys out,
but I can't post my pictures here anymore.

I have all the details on another board,
with pictures and links to all the parts,
but I think your admin
would not appreciate me giving you a link to it.

I use a 950gph Danner Supreme mag drive pond pump
for the spray jets
and a 600gph pump for the chiller.
(ebay)

I get almost everything online.

Hydroponics & Gardening from EmeraldElectronic.com

Radford Brothers Industrial Supply Male Branch Tee 1/4 In Brass PK 10

Good luck guys.

Could you send me a pm with link Earl?I'd appreciate it.;)

Earl...How did I miss your grow. I should have read your sig a long time ago.It was never on the first page when I logged in. fantastic job.are you going to keep your ph at 5.6 throughout the grow.? I have really been thinking about AN's line. so many additives. could you post exactly which products you are using?. what other nute lines have you used in the past and how do you compare them to AN?

I have only used AN and Dutch Master.

DutchMaster is very simple
and I use it at 50-70%
of the calculated load.

With AN nutes I use SensiGrow and SensiBloom@50%

For additives I use
F1(fulvic acid)100%
H1(humic acid)25%
Sensizyme 100%
Barricade 50%or less
(I only add enough barricade to bring the pH up to 5.5)

I also use Overdrive @ 250ppm after week 5
(infact that is all I use after week 5)

I try to keep the pH at 5.6
but if it stabilizes anywhere between 5.5 and 5.8
I will leave it alone.

I also use AN pH down
and General Hydroponics pH up powder.

I use RO(ReverseOsmosis) water,
and no nutes after week 8-9-10

do not try to adjust the pH of RO
it will ruin your meter and never be where you want it,
until you have some concoction of pH up and pH down.

"do not try to adjust the pH of RO

I add my phosphates first then my other nutes then adjust my ph. did you mean dont try to adjust the ph of the r/o water alone?

thanks for the info on your nutes. I am going to give AN a shot whenever I run out of the nutes I have.
