ec,cf,ppm question please.

i am useing the hanna ph meter and whant to bay anter meter and i am not sure maybe you can help me to know what i need and what recommended .
i up link on 3in1 ec cf ppm meter 3in1 Waterproof EC CF ppm Stick Meter Nutrient Tester c - eBay (item 230439083170 end time Feb-27-10 1944 PST)
and after i get one like this i whant to know what i need to do if the number are not like thay supposed to be ?what i need to add or ....?

either add water to make ppm go down or nutes to go up

you might be happier down the line if you spend a little more on ppm meter, i bought one for $30 then ended up paying $90 (temp and water proof) a few weeks later...

edited the above post... first ppm meter($30) i got didnt account for temp and wasnt water proof, only did PPM, didnt show EC... i also got $30 ph meter that doesnt do temp and not waterproof,so $60 wasted when I could have bought $90 meter that does TEMP, PH, EC, PPM and is water proof and probably built better and more accurate...

sometimes you get what you pay for is all i'm sayin...

but that one you link to above will work fine

My Hanna GroChek, 3 in 1 meter is put away in a drawer.

For pH, use the manual drops. Still the best way to go.

For PPM, best out there is Bluelab Truncheon® Meter.

how mach it cost for just ppm meter of Bluelab ? what i see in ebay is 100$ and is ec cf ppm , and i didnt andrstand what is cf ?

CF is same as EC just different units, PPM is just EC converted to another number, hanna, truncheon and eurotech all use different ways to calculate PPM from EC...

Ok on what you advise me ? and wich difference i will see after i start to work with this meter ? as i say i am working only with hanna ph meter ,i just whant to get better result with minimal equipment bat the best .

Ok so i order today the hanna combo meter (ph,ec,ppm,temp) 125$ from ebay
in my hydro shop the whant for this allmost 400$ hahahaaaa.
so i am whithing to this and mybe after you can help me to know the correct numbers of the tests ....
in the meantime i move all of the female to the MH400w week 1 from seed
