Fan Leaf Question

First time grower here!

I'm a little over a month in veg cycle and I'm using a 1000 watt MH light. I'm going from seeds and clones and doing a 24 hour light schedule. I have noticed my shade leaves are getting pretty big and was wondering when or if i do snip these off to get light to my inner nodes?

early in flowering, trim the ones blocking bud sites and if it's a whole leaf try trimming half of it first, then the rest a few days or a week later. you can also try stuffing the fan leaves down under branches to tell her 'give up on them they're a lost cause!!'
just keep enough to grab the light that your buds won't get.
