Run fans at night?

I'm growing 2 plants in a grow tent and am getting ready to go 18/6 with a nice LED, but I've had them on 24 hours with a CFL bulb during seedling stage. I'm wondering what happens to the plants during lights "off" cycle when no humidifier is running? Should I only leave the extraction fan/intake fan on or off? How do I know the inside temp/humidity of the tent when lights are in the "off" cycle since I can't go inside and check my meter?
Thanks

In veg mode you can open tent to check temps and humidity at anytime. The quicker you do it the better but a few minutes is not going to hurt plants what so ever in veg mode. It takes 30+ minutes to wake up after lights on.

Or get a meter that has the low average and high average and check when lights come on but if running 18-6 just take a quick look wont hurt a thing.

They make wireless temp/RH meters.
I keep everything running at night, but drop the temp 8-10 degrees.

Use this VPD chart to dial in your temp/RH.
If you’re light is full spectrum, or has IR/UV then 75F is where you want your leaf temp. If not, bring the temps up into the low 80s. You’ll need an IR thermometer to get the leaf temp reading though.

I think I'll get a good meter that I can put the leads inside and be able to read it outside the tent
You won’t regret it. I hated running up and down the basement stairs all day.

Where could I purchase one of those humidity/temp meters at? Tks

I got it off Amazon.
I keep the receiver end on my fridge upstairs. Very handy.

I use a setup from "ambient weather" it's a 5-8 channel graphing unit. I can measure multiple tents and indoor ambient temps with one display. It does have data logging capabilities to a removable card but I haven't bothered. There are a lot of WiFi units available but I don't like the whole Internet of Things idea. This is one of the last non wifi graphing units out there.

I use one of there to keep track of temp & humidity, logs it online and you can do a live pull via api. Remotely via cell phone too if you can setup a vpn to your home network. Sends alerts too via email for free, sms with a fee. Find it on amazon for 45$.
