Hey in veg cycle during the dark period of 18/6 do I leave the fan on? Doing a soil cfl grow , dark period is at night temps reach 80 with fan on at hottest.

My fans shut off when the lights shut off. If the temp is to high then allow the fan to run longer, hope this helps.

I run my fans 24/7 no matter what the lights are doing. Cannabis likes the fresh air exchange.

Temperatures allowing Id suggest keeping fans on 24/7 as roadlizard said your plants will like the fresh co2 exchange and if in flower it will keep smells from escaping your grow room.

I leave the fans running 24/7 for plenty of air exchange...
In the early days of growing i left the fan off in the night cycle & noticed a humidity spike of up to 90%... high humidity may induce powdery milder problems & bud rot in flowering !
I would really check ya humidity in the lights off period to be on the safe side as i am pretty confident you will get a humidity spike
