First ever grow and need advice

I am using cfl lights I have about 250watts out put with room for more I am only got one plant so I don't want to over do it with the light. I am 32 days in from seed not sure what strain. My grow room is not all the way done yet but I am working on it as this grow goes on.

These plants veg well under CFLs and you should be fine for awhile until your plant gets bigger.

You should consider starting a journal to allow others to follow your progress and offer help

I was going to go to a 2700k cfl light when I put it into flower is that ok? I have them under 6500k now

2700k is perfect for blooming but when the time comes, you should consider a number of lights positioned around and over your girl as CFLs don't have much penetration

Ok I have it set up where I can have up to 10 bulbs would that be good enough? And how long does it take for the first set of leaves to fall off? Is that when I am in veg state?

The vegetative state is will the plant grows and matures under 14+ hrs of light a day. This is the time it gains size and can anywhere from about 6 weeks to as long as you want to keep it from flowering. You can start it flowering anytime after it is sexually mature, usually between 6-8 weeks from seed.

When you are ready to start flowering it, change your lights to the 2700k and switch your lights to 12 on 12 off schedule.
