I personally have just been using a mixture of peat moss and perlite. I do 1:3 ratio. So for every one unit of measurement of perlite you add three of that same unit of measurement. So that means if you have one cup perlite you add three cups peat moss. There are also a bunch of other mixtures that you can find on the internet and this site as well. When I start with seed I use a seed starting mix that you can buy from the store. then transfer to the peat moss and perlite mix after they out grow the dixie cups I start them in. Other on here suggest foxfarm products. Many say ocean forest is a good one when mixed with their warrior brand mix. Either way do some research and you will find the type of grow medium that works best for your needs.
