First time grower questions

I am buying a grow tent that is about 6ft tall and 5 feet wide - HTG Supply - HTG 1000w Grow Tent Kit


how much could i expect to yield from a tent like this ? it says it comes with 7 pots

Hi tj1000,

Like to start by welcoming you to the 420 Magazine site and community of members that gathers here.

Kind of hard to provide a definitive answer to your question as there are a lot of potential variables. Some strains produce more than others and the size of the plant when flower is induced can also greatly effect the total yield. The style of growing also has a dramatic effect.

With that said, I've been where you are trying to figure out a potential future yield of my fist grow. I'm assuming your potentially a first time grower, so don't get discouraged by these numbers. I think a realistic rule of thumb is 1/2 gram per watt of light. A lofty but attainable goal would be 1 gram per watt.
