fishtank hydro

hi everyone im sick of soil grows and i want to go into hydro =D i was just wondering what kind of hydro setup shuld i use i have all my lights already and i have a 8 gallon fishtank that i wanted to put to use (my fish died years ago) im on a small budget and i just wanted everyones opinion on what i can do thanks and

Hey there Stinky,

First thing you gotta do is cover that fish tank up with tape or spray paint or something. The light will cause all kinds of problems (mainly heat and algae) that its better to cover it up and prevent than cure.

You could use a bubbler setup get some airstone throw em down on the bottom then have to find or make a lid that will cover the top and hold your plants up. I am a bubbler man so I say bubblers all the way!

thanks for the info i dropt the fish tank so i bought a 15 gallon plastic tote and im gunna test it out i hope to tart a grow journal soon thanks for the help and
